We didn’t know any better…In the same way Americans butcher such words as any city that ends in “Burgh” (for instance, Edinburgh is pronouced just that way…not “Edinbourough” …I just assumed that was the correct pronunciation…

So, we just got a question about the Van Gogh rule that I accidentally answered Privately… 

Apparently no one can pronounce the poor man’s name correctly…just go listen on the Wiki page!!!
