Last week we held the first Doctor Who Tumblr ‘WHO&A’ with the cast of Doctor Who — Matt Smith and Jenna Louise Coleman. Fan submitted questions by posting them to their own blogs using the tag ‘Tumblr WHO and A’. We then spent the next 48 hours sorting through the (3600+!) questions and then sat down with Matt and Jenna for over an hour so that they could answer some of their favs.

We want to give a HUGE thanks to everyone who took part in the Q&A. This Q&A was the first of its kind and definitely not the last. Every question, every ‘like’ and every ‘reblog’ made this happen. It’s this kind of turnout that makes the cast and crew of Doctor Who want to participate in stuff like this. It also shows how we Whovians are the best fandom on Tumblr.

Anyone who follows this blog knows how much BBC America ships Doctor Who and Tumblr.

We’ve had meetups and contests and livetumblrings and in return, you’ve shown your love by getting Doctor Who on the cover of not one but two major U.S. magazines — Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide.

This holiday season we’re showing our love by hosting our first ever Tumblr Q&A with the cast of Doctor Who — Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman! (ehrmahgerd!ehrmahgerd!ehrmahgerd!)

In fact, we think this might be the first TV show Q&A on Tumblr ever, right? If so, cool.

This is how it’s going to work:

Matt and Jenna will reblog their favorite questions with their answers to the Doctor Who Tumblr on Friday, December 7th.

In order to make your questions and their answers rebloggable, we are not using the Tumblr Ask or Fan Mail (though we lurve them both), so be sure to post and tag your questions properly.

*And we’re sorry. We’re so sorry but they probably won’t get to answer every question.

Addie and I are very heartbroken to hear about the devastation that has occurred by Hurricane Sandy and the ‘Frankenstorm’ that has battered the east coast with uncharacteristic weather.
